"The ristorante was good, it just continued to fill up so we were pleased we got there early. It seems booking is essential on certain nights. We were there on Friday night. The menu is a little overwhelming to work through, so many set meals,...some exotics like Ostrich, Kangaroo and different grills of meat. When you have a large menu and a party of even just five the discussions, pointing out and debating really takes on a whole show in itself. It is often how funny then people revert to a safer position of what they know as what they could try. Menu's like thois confront you. We had different types of nüsslisalat, then one veal cordon bleu, three went for beef stroganoff and one went for a rump steak. These come with french fries, noodles or spaetzle. I took the beef stronganoff and although the meat was tender and good, the source was far too tomato based, it lacked a balance, little sour cream (if any), lacking worcestershire sauce, less than usual mushrooms and not seasoned well. Now I tend to like a spiced version so even ordering the tabasco it failed to change that overpowering tomotato (some paprika) based sauce. Shame. The stand out one for me was the Veal Cordon Blue- nicely done, just well balanced, cheese was right. That was a clear winner. The steak was a steak. (yawn) Then a follow my lead as we mostly went for Vermicelles, usually served with whipped cream and Meringues. It was but the Meringues were a little on the mean side, the vermicelle also but you got lashings of whipped cream and a scope of icecream. Pity I wouod have liked a decent portion of Vermicella and Meringues and less of the fluff and the puff Good selection of wines, we went for a local one, a White followed by a Red and two of the partly finished it off with a Grappa Good food, a little overwhelmed in service when busy, you have to keep looking and chasing and a menu that I feel could be reduced of all the bells and whistles to make the food coming out of the knitchihn a little more focused to a higher end result. No question it is popular and good but as many become well known, they tend to forget or let slip perhaps on why people go there- the food is good, it just could be better with a little more attention"

"This restaurant differs from others. it only offers a few small tables. in the back there are two huge tables where you can sit. it is somehow connected to the weinbauer delea. so it offers the full selection of wein, among others weine from tessin. we both had the entrecote with the caffe de paris. it was tender and at the point, rare medium. unfortunately it remains on very hot heating plates and to cook further so that the second half of the meat was well made. friendly staff."

"I did not expect a expierence like this at all, I have just been going up the mountain because i wanted to have some snow in Locarno during winter, and then after 3 hours its started to rain. The place is uniquely located, overseeing the full region/lakes, and the service is really really good, at least in the restaurant. It was during COVID so we had the full restaurant for ourselves so that can mean a lot, but the food was good and they catered to vegetarians./vegans well as well, with some pasta dishes and the soup of carrote/limone with was pretty nice. The drinks and the tea was good too! Was expecting nothing at all, so was really flabourguested that it was so good! We paid 120/CHF for two persons for a meal lunch"

"Go to an evening meal without reservation and they liked us. the location is modern, but with elegant ambiente. Covid19 measures are observed in the restaurant. the service is very good promt and informatiw. we tried the pizza and it was really good. not so. thick, but also not so thin very good and price is fair. they also have to order a large selection of seasonal arrangements. the salatbuffet was also good. it was a good dinner."
