This restaurant is a great spot to enjoy some delicious carved meats and sausages. The beer flights and appetizers are a great way to start your meal. Overall, everything was fantastic. I only gave it 4 stars because the kitchen was a bit slow and there were long gaps between service. This didn't bother me since I was with good company, but I felt I should mention it. What Englisberg doesn't like about Rasselbock Kitchen Beer Garden:
I found this restaurant to be excessively expensive, with low-quality food and a pushy waiter. Despite the cold, rainy weather, we decided to try their Potato Soup (made with Yukon potatoes, market vegetables, and shaved cabbage). Unfortunately, it was lukewarm and watery, and the shaved red cabbage was raw. The dishes being served to other guests did not look appealing, and the beer prices were too high. View all feedback.
Beautiful place and friendly staff. I came late at night because of the apple cake thing that this place has. I was interested in the other whispering option, but they hadn't made it available. So I asked about the other gloomy and they were out of ice, I was offered to whip cream instead and I was good with the replacement. I thought I would have a discount of any kind for inappropriate with that which is not on stock, but I was charged to the full price. the gloomy was in order, and the wee was decent. can come back and taste the food, atmosphere was great.
Been here a few times. The fries are some of the best I’ve ever had, and friends I’ve brought here have said the same. The wurst are all good but the Elk and Wild Boar are the top two. Of all the beers the Petrus passionfruit sour is the best, very fine passionfruit flavor with the sourness being the hard hitting underlying tone.
We had an amazing experience here. The food is an excellent blend of tradition and their own take. Trevor is a grade A server who had a great knowledge of the menu and beer selection. Perfectly relaxing atmosphere. Be back soon!
Everything was terrific… from food to service. We sat “outside” with heaters and it was perfect. The chicken Schnitzel, sausage platter, sauerkraut, potato salad, and luscious Käsespätzle (traditional southern German dish of tiny dumplings baked with cheese onions) were so, so good. The bacony deviled eggs were lovely, as was the Pretzel with Obatzda (beer cheeese spread). Yum!Most importantly get the warm, wintry Glühwein, which is perfectly mulled wine with vanilla, citrus, and spices. Delish!
Always delicious!!Everything is good. We usually get the Bavarian Pretzel, my kids get chicken schnitzel, and my husband gets one of the sausage platters, all the Sausage are good. My go to is the pork Jaeger Schnitzel, the sauce is to die for. Their Brussel sprouts never disappoint. I have also had the grilled caesar salad which I highly recommend. Great selection of beers and wine as well. Image is the holiday Gluhwein, spiced red wine.
