"As a regular visitor, this time, lunch was a let down. We checked online what the menu of the day was and it looked good. Although arriving early, like 12.15!, the restaurant tables were all reserved and my wife and I had to sit in the cafeteria part. Also, the chosen dish which was advertised online, had suddenly disappeared from the menu! A rather brusque young man pointed us to a table where we had to sit. The Cozido Portuguesa which I had instead was served with many items cold and was very coarse indeed. Not good at all! My wife 's salmon did not look and taste good either. Most of our meals ended up in a Tupperware box for the cats! House wine OK and plentiful."

"Everything is gluten free. The blood sausage with apple sauce was a great starter. We then ordered the seafood rice (2 persons minimum, 45€ and wow were we pleasantly surprised: not only did it have a huge portion with tons of shells and big prawns, it also came with a lobster on top! Service was very nice and friendly. Best place we ate in Coimbra!"
