First time having Chinese food since my celiac diagnosis. Menu is clearly marked with what can be made gluten free. I was surprised with how many gf options they had. A nice family run restaurant with friendly staff. I had general’s chicken and veggie fried rice. My gf meal was incredibly delicious and my order was ready on time. Gluten free or not you need to try this place out. Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten... View all feedback.
What maxine stein doesn't like about Great Wall:
Not the same place. Food not at all like it once was. Had to return a dish. Was so disappointed. We were the only people in the restaurant and the vibe was not warm. Florescent lighting and cold atmosphere. Will not go back. View all feedback.
This place is very very good. I give it a five star I've been in Florence for two years and it was hard to find a really good Chinese restaurant and Great wall you have my support. Thank you.
Don't be swayed by old reviews this is some of the best Chinese food I've had in Western Mass. New owner is super friendly and knows her stuff. Can't go wrong here. We had the cumin chicken and Egg Foo Young. Delicious.

GREAT FOR A BIG PARTY! An affordable, unique, and delicious experience! I had my birthday party at the new Great Wall, hosted by Feng and her husband, George. A couple weeks before the party, I sat down with Feng to put together a menu for 10. She and her staff went above and beyond to procure special vegetables and fresh, high quality fish and meat for the party. Crowd-pleasers included the sautéed green beans, mustard greens, whole fish, and sushi platters. Other notable items included homemade soup dumplings, fried shrimp, and house-roasted duck. Everything tasted fabulous and fresh; Feng made the experience super special. I would definitely work with Feng and her family at Great Wall again—my friends and I had a custom Chinatown dim sum food opera experience right here in Florence, MA! A fantastic birthday.
Wonderfully redone interior and menu. Definitely worth visiting! Such nice people and extremely allergen friendly.
