Friendly service ,lovely meal....going back for carvery soon....,..... Sunday....we went back for the carvery . It was fantastic. We didn't go until 3pm , there was still plenty of the 3 meats, everything else was still hot the veg were perfectly cooked. We were just visiting for 2 weeks but my brother lives this way, so I expect we'll come again next week. View all feedback.
What Ivor Hunger doesn't like about Woodton Kings Head:
Not the best atmosphere. Expecting a nice lively crowd in a busy pub with their being such good rating. But it wasn't the case. Beautiful two sided fireplace in the middle of the main bar, this would have been perforce on a cold winter's night, but instead not used and had decoration pieces inside instead. Just a couple of small touches of improvement and warmth and I'm sure it would be a much more popular place. View all feedback.
Our visit was a pleasure, the landwife was welcoming and I enjoyed my pint of well kept adnams ghost ship too late to lunch, but the safest will confirm that
Very friendly pub, good inexpensive food and generous portions. we will definitely be back for more!
