What User likes about Lincolnshire Poacher:
what a crisp pub. many real ale, served by really friendly and social employees. also does excellent eating, none of their usual pub duck, the chips are for dying! I would recommend this hostel to anyone who visits Nottingham. View all feedback. What Ray Thomas doesn't like about Lincolnshire Poacher:
I've enjoyed my visits to the Poacher ever since it opened. However, the pub now looks like it needs a lot of TLC It now looks quite tatty, and the bar staff could do with a customer care course. Wake up Castle Rock management before you lose a, once upon a time , classic boozer. View all feedback.

read moreFriendly staff and well kept ales. I would prefer more guest ales other than Castle Rock beers, bit that's probably more a personal choice.
Small quiet pub filled with history like other castle rock pubs but not enough of a choice for cider drinkers. Leans toward the older generation.
Arguably the best whisky and ale offering in Nottingham. Friendly staff as well.
Lovely pub, always a wide selection of guest ales (a rarity for most Castle Rock pubs), a great beer garden, good atmosphere and some interesting regulars!
