this was our second visit, a return after 3 years from the land and eating was even better than we expected. we were a party of four and had 3 carvings and a lever and swirling. eating was absolutely excellent. my only explanation was that they had sold out of the "world's best rhabarbkuchen"! we had a nice evening with drinks and still only 60 €. highly recommended! What Hans-Joachim Krug doesn't like about Schmidt:
the food is very good. service and organization very bad. you never get 2 eating at once. the one is finished and the other hasn't yet. the chef does not even have the eggs in the pants to talk to the guests about the problems. I can't do that anymore. but a schnapps was served as compensation. View all feedback.
This fascinating place is located in katzwang, a shelter of nurenberg, and it was like love at first sight. there I had for the first time the famous brunette shoulder with crispy skin regional delicacies, served with noodle, so I stay a happy...customer for some years. this guesthouse and restaurant have been there for several centuries, but as such is on 1885 as they can see on the generation tree map at the entrance wall! everything is delicious and well cooked, they are the masters of the art. especially local make reviews, but also other decisions and local beer, I have to fess! pretty busy the most time, a terrace outside with tables for summer days.

We were in the restaurant on Sunday afternoon with the family eating. You should adjust to the fact that the foods do not come at the same time. we had so much to eat that they needed forever. during the eating came the next reservation - totally stressful. The eating is easy but good.Service unfortunately not only overwhelmed, but also totally grumpy and mosquito.Generally, everything has not worked very routined.Klientel - older guests and family. When it is avoid.
We have been eating for years there, however, has become worse and worse despite everything, this is always full locally, especially by profiters.
We were there last Thursday evening. it was about 20 guests inside and outside, i.e. little. the service was moderately friendly and there was apparently always only one menu per table. I have never seen (!) that the meals are served per table at the same time. this time came first a scavenger special. After I was finished for a long time, finally came the second food, weeds are Hungarian. both standard courts, so this considerable delay cannot be traced. on demand, the service explained that the chef, or the chef, know exactly that guests can order such a thing regularly, but see no need for action. "as long as the guests still come, it can't be so bad," is the basic attitude. eating was average from taste. the dressing on the teller had more canteen levelau. the best was the supplemental salad.
