This place is not as it appears. Best tasting burger we’ve had in a long time. The fries were tasty too. The food was fresh and the owners were great. Lila is hardworking and her daughter was personable as well. You won’t regret eating here. Love the decor as well. View all feedback.
What Eric Zorns doesn't like about Jim Lila's Cafe:
Hot Kansas day with no a/c apparently. No way to understand the specials that were told to us. We ordered 4 cheeseburgers and 2 fries but that took almost half an hour. I think much of that time was spent defrosting our buns which we saw retrieved from the freezer across from us in the dining room because the burgers weren't good and the fries were soggy with grease. Traveling and needed breakfast, will be stopping at Jim Lila's again. Great place for a home style breakfast. Will be trying their lunch soon.
Fun little stop off the road. My wife and I stopped in after a cold hike on Fall River and stopped in for lunch. The ladies welcomed us in as they were tending the wood fired stove which heats the place. Very nice after a cold day outside.Then they told us they’d make anything we liked so we got a handmade chicken fried steak sandwich, a fried ham and cheese, some hand cut fries, and a couple cold drinks. Also bought half an apple pie.Excellent food and a fun place to visit. We will most certainly be back!#SAYF

Really good burgers and fries! Definitely recommend!
Parking: Like a mom n pops drive up from the road and park as family, freinds, the same as to politely not block anybody from entering/exiting. P&ty.
