"Top price-performance ratio! The food was delicious and the selection of local beers surprising. Didn't even know there was a brewery here. The beer tasted very good. "We have just returned from a very memorable holiday in South Africa and Emily Moon was our last place to stay. What a superb setting indeed! We stayed 3 nights in lodge 9 which was nicely decorated and very comfortable indeed with everything you would need. Our balcony looked out over stunning views. We availed ourselves of a lovely meal in the restaurant on the first evening and the other evenings we enjoyed the pizza restaurant. The staff were attentive and the manager especially so thank you all at Emily Moon! Xx"

"What a surprise. I knew nothing about the little bistro on the corner. The menu is not too long, a selection of seafood, pizza and a few German specialities. We ordered pizza, chicken schnitzel and a seafood pasta. The pizza was super thin base, large and delicious. We were told that the flour was from Italy and the tomato sauce was freshly made. The seafood pasta was the best I’ve ever had. The chicken schnitzel looked good too. Overall a pleasant surprise with such good food that was well prepared. The kind of place we would frequent if we lived here. Oh and the service was fantastic too."

"Simply put, a delicious lunch. My wife had their woodfired pizza and I had a delicious steak, perfectly cooked. Unlike many restaurants nowadays, service didn't drop once we declined the wine list. If we end up in Plett again we will definitely visit"
