Great BBQ considering it's Jersey. Very good ribs, sides, and fried onion block. I've eaten ribs all over the country, and there are better ribs out there for sure. But for New Jersey these are pretty darn good. A bit pricey, but this is the shore, y'know. View all feedback.
What Darrell S doesn't like about The Hickory Hog:
I ordered online and they charged my card through bring me that when I went to pick up my food they wanted me to pay again watch out for these people something very shady about that stick with doordash restaurants they are honest View all feedback.
Best ribs in New Jersey and it’s not even particularly close. Great service and great food.
Had a full rack of excellent baby back ribs which basically fell off the bone. Definitely give them a shot over their local ‘competitor’. Will be back!
Great BBQ place. Would recommend the food if you like good and tender ribs. I think the place is quite quiet.
Food was delicious and plentiful. Staff and service was superb. If you're in Point Pleasant you definitely have to stop in. Highly recommended.
The food and service was delicious! Small dining area but the food is worth the wait. If you order the ribs, ask for the “perfect combo” rub. Establishment is BYOB friendly
