"We have thoroughly enjoyed everytime we get to go to 1908 for a meal, we suggest this restaurant to all out guests who are wanting a lovely meal and a relaxed ambiance, Pauline<br/>will try to give you everything you want, just a wonderful owner, I have never in the eight years here had a complaint from anyone they have all enjoyed there night at 1908.Yes Pauline's Lamb shanks are devine, its a must."

"Had lunch here, loved the food and service. You gotta walk to the back of the shop to see the cafe. Small cosy place with indoor and outdoor seating I had the vegetarian quiche and hot chocolate, it was perfect for a short stop"

"Coffee was fresh and hot. Food is simple and very well done. You don't have a hundred options, the staff are real people. There is a cupboard full of toys for the kids and a high chair. We loved it. Thanks Penguin Cafe."
