Lovely place to eat. Sunday lunch is my recommendation. Garden area available. The town is a good place to visit with bespoke shops. Some nice walks around the river, and if you're more energetic there's the table mountain to conker. What Ruth K doesn't like about Britannia Inn:
The restaurant has poor hygiene standards. I witnessed a server using his hands to put vegetables into serving dishes and then blowing his nose on the cloth he was using to handle plates. Another staff member licked his fingers before handling plates without washing them. There was a consistent pattern of eating food directly from serving dishes without washing hands. These young! after a walk with the children. all the staff were super helpful, really friendly and went out there to make us welcome. great work! and since pizzas defo order these, they were amazing! fresh, beautiful and very well cooked!
At this beautifully presented pub with good sitting area held out for a coffee. very well located in the middle of crickhowell. super carrot cake!
A nice pub. the pizzas are absolutely delicious and the plates huge and a beautiful selection. all very cheap. the personal is beautiful. but do not rely on eating the kitchen is tiny and understandably popular they can be overwhelmed. if available or just a beautiful drink and some homemade cakes (always available)
1. times in the britannia inn. perfect place to sit outside and watch the world over, everyone was very friendly, the staff that customers would definitely return. dog-friendly, food bowls with doggie tasty in them. beautiful atmosphere inside.
