I've driven past this place for many years and finally went in this week to try out the menu. It was good, being midweek (a Tuesday) it was quiet so easy to park and no rush to eat up and get away from the table. The set menu has a good selection and reasonably priced. In pleasant weather you can even eat in the outdoor area, And into the accessible spaces also come clientele with wheelchairs or physical limitations.

What H B doesn't like about The Shepherd and Dog:
Location was lovely. It's hidden away. Ambience was nice. Food was tasty. Had the chicken risotto and chocolate dessert. But felt the portion wasn't large enough considering the price. I walked away still feeling peckish.. Would save it for a special occasion and make sure you have a 3 course meal. Wouldn't come here regularly. read more.
