What Walter Holzapfel doesn't like about Filiberto’s Mexican Food:
The food isn't bad but it's not the greatest either. I went three different times to try different stuff off the menu. I can't help but notice how STINGY they are with their hot sauce. I order food for a family of 6 and they only give 2 red and 2 green. Another time, I ask for 4 each specifically and they still only gave me 2 each. Other that, like I said, it's not bad. This place, not only has great food, but great service as well. With tons of choices from burritos, roll tacos, street tacos, quesadillas, Carne, Asada, fries, and a variety of meat bowls. Every time I’ve come food has always been fresh with great salsa and even some creative options. If you’re interested in their hot Cheeto burrito or their surf and turf burrito.
If you are seeking a true Filiberto’s experience DO NOT go to the Clairemont Mesa location. Their hot Cheeto burrito is so dry. They didn’t add any nacho cheese and the french fries were extra (both items are included in the other locations) Can’t believe I spent $14 on a burrito that is not edible ?
A highly recommended place to go to eat, the food is very good, the burritosThey are very delicious, the quesabirrias, the chilaquiles, a very delicious variety of food, the cashier and the cooks are always very friendly, they always give me the food to the taste that I requested, apart from that a very nice place, the lobby is very nice to eat, with a nice view, and with music ? the bathrooms very clean, 100% recommended.
Fish taco was good. But my 5 mini tacos didn’t come with ANY salsa whatsoever. And all the tortillas were hard as a rock.
