What Kirstin Leigh likes about Chef Zhao Bistro:
Authentic Sichuan food for spicy food lovers! Highly recommend the spicy lotus root, lamb dish, and spicy wontons. Everything is very seasoned and super flavorful so you should get a bowl of rice to compliment the dishes. Numbing sensation (spicy) from the peppers are what makes the Sichuan experience amazing. read moreChef Zhao offers a mix of authentic Sichuan dishes. While some items fell short, like the Glutinous Rice Cake, others, such as the Stir Fried Pork Kidney, impressed. The atmosphere is clean and service is quick, but parking can be a challenge. Prices are on the higher side, but the Mala dishes are worth it for spice lovers. The Numbing Chicken Wings were a hit with the kids. The Spicy Lotus Root and MaPo Tofu come highly recommended. The restaurant is a great spot for delicious and spicy Szechuan cuisine, with friendly service and ample parking options.
