The vegetables were tasty, but the injera was thicker than what we usually have at our Ethiopian restaurant in Tucson. My son noted that this seems to be a common practice, maybe for quicker or easier preparation, but we all agreed that we prefer thinner, lighter injera. The owner made sure to check in with us throughout our meal and again as we were leaving, which was a nice touch. View all feedback.
What Lourdes Gleason doesn't like about Prima Injera:
The food was disgusting, we returned 6 out of 7 appetizers that were served to us. The poor quality meat is poorly cooked and has a bad taste. They calculated every last cent of the bill. Shame should give them the lousy customer service and the lousy quality of the food with the years they have on the market !!!!! I will never return and I would not recommend it to my worst enemy. I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The menu offered a variety of options and the owner was accommodating with customizing dishes. The food was tasty and there were many ethnic choices to choose from. You can select the level of spiciness you desire (mild, medium, etc.) and the staff was attentive. While it may not be a top-rated restaurant, it is definitely worth the trip. The ambiance is cozy and it is a perfect place for business meetings, a first date, or hanging out with friends. I will definitely be back soon to indulge in the ethnic cuisine once more.
I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. They offer a great variety of options and the owners are willing to customize items on the menu. The food was delicious and they have a good selection of ethical choices. You can choose the level of spiciness for your dishes (mild, medium, etc.) and the staff is attentive to ensure a perfect experience. This restaurant definitely deserves a 5-star rating. It's a bit of a journey to get there, but it's worth it. The atmosphere is cozy and it's a great spot for business meetings, first dates, or just catching up with friends. I can't wait to enjoy this ethnic cuisine again soon.

My son noticed this as a trend, possibly for quicker or easier preparation, but we all agreed that thinner, lighter injera is preferable. The owner was attentive, checking in with us during the meal and again as we were leaving.
