What mikeyfeik doesn't like about Damascus Drum:
During my visit, the menu had a few vegan lunch choices, as well as vegan flapjacks. The food was decent and served its purpose, but not outstanding enough to make a special trip for. View all feedback. What maryannaryan likes about Damascus Drum:
We enjoyed a delightful lunch with a unique atmosphere and incredibly friendly staff. My 3-year-old always enjoys the soup and hummus, and the mezes, especially the babaganoush, are fantastic. The cakes are delicious, and there is a wide variety of coffees to choose from. We really enjoy dining here. View all feedback.

read moreThis charming Middle Eastern cafe in Hawick offers a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. While the vegan options are limited and menu discrepancies were noted, the meze platter and dishes like the pastrami special panini were highlights. The cafe's relaxed vibe, selection of books and rugs for sale, and delicious cakes and coffee make it a must-visit for vegetarians and meat-eaters alike. With dishes like feta pie, hummus, and vegan burgers receiving rave reviews, this hidden gem is the perfect spot for a leisurely meal or a quick coffee break. Don't miss out on the delightful experience this cafe has to offer.
