"Disastrous Experience at Silver Beach Resort Restaurant I recently dined at the Silver Beach Resort Restaurant, and my experience was appalling. The Chicken Sandwich I ordered was anything but edible. The meat was gray, undercooked, filled with bones and skin. The fries were barely thawed and cold. When we reported the issue to the servers, they made us wait indefinitely. After finally addressing the owner, she became furious, refusing to take any action, claiming she paid for the food. The peak of the ordeal was when I tried to take a photo of the faulty burger, and the owner violently snatched my phone away to quickly remove the plate. To my astonishment, she returned later to take photos of me, threatening to report me to the police during a routine check. This unacceptable behavior, coupled with spoiled meat, makes this place one to avoid at all costs. The owner, an elderly woman with Gucci glasses, should reconsider her management and attitude towards customers. Steer clear of this establishment for your own well-being."

"We stayed in this complex looking for a quiet area, where we could enjoy the views and the atmosphere, and we were right; we were also able to enjoy the attractions and the cocktails that they offer in their restaurant, and also of the food, although the vegan options were not numerous, especially at breakfast."

"Among the current circumstances, this hotel refused to repay or book at a later time, while there is a travel ban. I'm ready to change dates too. but no, they don't know any cancellation. they don't want us to go. it is not under our control. I tried to minimize our losses. not even re-booking. so, others travel, they are aware. everything could happen to you or to all the world, and they won't care."

"I would not recommend to stay there, although the villa with pool was quite ok, at least if they are arranged with cockroaches in their bathroom sometimes and everywhere around their private area of the house in. Moreover, almost the entire area was in construction or had massive water damage. when we tried to contact the manager and send them our complaints with pictures as an example, he simply denied everything and told us that we make pictures of forbidden areas. strangely, the teamworker there showed us on the website and showed us everything we can theoretically use and what not. the gym that is listed in the advertising was in a cellar and smells extremely laborious. which was probably due to the water damage that could be seen in the next room. the water was high there. Just make your own picture and decide. I don't think it's worth the money."

"Nice place for long stays. Comfortable bed, big bathtub, netflix, great location to everything with motorbike or walking, and never a flood cuz its at the top of a small incline. Big 1 bedroom 1 bath, pet friendly."

"Stayed here with my Family, very friendly staff, great little restaurants beach front as well! We had a pool view second floor, room was very spacious, clean and fairly updated. Wedid get the double room as we like to have a separate room for the kids. Love the beach in front of Lamai 99 as well. One of the only places on Lamai beach that has palm trees on the edge so you can chill in the shade and enjoy the ocean and sun when you want. Restaurant staff is very friendly and speak good enough English to get you what you need. Food was really good as well. We tried all three restaurants in front and enjoyed them all. Prices are reasonable as well. The only drawback is that it can get pretty loud at night due to the bars about 300 metres behind. We were right at the back so I am sure that if you get a bungalow closer to the ocean it would be fine. Will stay again!"
