"Like so many vegetarian restaurants in Taiwan, the owner of this place is just not interested in the gastronomy for vegans. When I first asked about vegan food, the owner said that everything was vegan because they did not use milk products in anything. When I asked about dishes with a photo of cheese, she quickly added, except those containing all cheeses. They use fake meat, but she says it's all vegan. This sets alarm bells for every vegan in Taiwan as it is practically never (if it is from a vegan restaurant). She is not interested in finding out what is actually vegan and simply says everything is, so there is no way to know what (if at all) is actually safe to order even if you can read and speak Chinese. It looked like a beautiful place, but two stars, because I couldn't order anything, even if I can read and speak Chinese."
