"Inside the hotel almhof there are two gastronomic restaurants: a contemporary served in the modern room, and an eclectic (Austrian-French-Italian) served in the "stube" room. We tried eclectic but the kitchen did not fully satisfy us, although it still remains of good level. Great service. very high prices."

"Very good food, poor and unwelcoming service. In spite of a reservation, we were relegated to a back room, while the rest of the indoor remained empty. Only after a fuss were we given a decent table. Ordering process was disorganised. We felt we were...there to serve them."

"We have been holidaying in Lech for 30 years and always made Ambrosius our first “ DINE OUT”…it has become a tradition.. after Covid madness we were glad to be back and arrived at Ambrosius at 6pm, 6 adults and 4 children under 10 years and an infant.. we were told by the young MISS WAITRON that they are not prepared to serve 11 people in one party. When we pointed out that it was early and there was no one in the restaurant, she replied that she didn’t care as that was the rule. My daughter asked her who had made this rule. She replied, “ I did and I can set the rules as I want to, we don’t serve 11 people.” This occurred on The evening of March 17th 2023 at 6pm.. We went to Cafe Olympia, who welcomed us. After dining I went back to speak to the manager. The man behind the bar whom I assume to be the manager, after I had asked him if he was, when I told him the story and of our disappointment and said I would post on Trip Adviser, said to me.. “Go ahead please and have a nice evening.” A disappointing start to our vacation and the end of a 30 year tradition. DINER BEWARE!"
