"Excellent. $16 a cocktail and they are well made. Only one of mine had ice in them. Not diluted, weak but beautifully made. Starters were tasty, garlic prawn crepe was brilliant. Wife had baked figs with duck goats cheese and scallops which was nice. Mains Daughter had lasagne which was great Pork belly was lovely I had the green curry which was awesome We had the chips on the side with smokehouse aioli. Overall very pleasantly surprised. They have stepped their game up."

"The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Service was great. Attention to detail was impressive. The food was awesome with such a varied menu. Unfortunately we didn't have room for desert but will return to try them out. Even the bathroom facilities were immaculate."

"Friendly family restaurant, very popular and busy. Quick service. Amazing food. We shared the special fried rice, satay beef and honey chicken...fresh, piping hot and tasty. We had left overs for next day. Highly recommend this restaurant"

"Excellent value and location. Good meals, excellent breakfast in the bar and friendly capable staff. Clean with basic facilities. Room is very small but functional with fridge and TV. Close to theatres and bars. Tea, coffee kettle and toaster in small communial kitchen. Good hot showers. There is live music most weekends, so don't expect a quiet sleep before 11pm, earplugs provided! Not a negative for us, nice to hear live music."

"YUM, our first visit to Joop was amazing. Lovely, clean restaurant. Service was great and professional. Green curry was delicious and the stay stir-fry was too. The curry puffs are really good. They gave a bar/lounge area for pre dinner cocktails or an after dinner night cap. The food is fantastic. This place is well worth the visit. Family friendly but also perfect for an intimate dinner!"
