"So, there's a rule not to eat at places that do food from more than 1 country. Radio Cairo does that, and the results are consistently affable. All our choices were quite well made, with good ingredients and service as snappy and friendly as a restaurant emerging from a deadly pandemic. There's choices to please everyone. You won't learn much about food from all around middle East and Africa, which somehow now includes Mexico and the west Indies. But you will eat well prepared food, that will fill you, please you and enjoy a place that will generally satisfy you and your guests."

"Loved this dining experience. a live jazz band was playing, and despite being underground with no windows, it was a beautiful space. evokes a certain era with the jazz and the dim lighting. loved the crab on toast appetizer and the duck l'orange. very solidly...executed. service was great too, not overbearing but checked in often. there was a bit of a flub with our order, but it was taken care of expediently."

"I've always loved Made in Italy as they hold the bar pretty high for me in terms of classic Italian so it was great to visit its latest inception, 'Next Door'. Great 90s tracks set the atmosphere, a fully equipped bar to warm up the pallette before a night of pizza and pasta.<br>

MADE AT YORK LANE - apricot, citrus and rosemary infused Bombay Sapphire is deadly. It's the kind of cocktail that will creep on you where you end up dancing on top of the tables.<br>

GIRL NEXT DOOR - has the same nice peachey colour except is Bacardi with Watermelon, and Cucumber weaved through. Perfect choices for summer nights with a nice freshness to them.<br>

We had the MAMA MIA with gnocchi - it's italian sausage with cream, chilli and napoletana sauce. I actually prefer my pastas with a bit of heat and really enjoyed this. <br>
