"The negative reviews here are ridiculous lol. imo, this place goes above and beyond expectations everytime. I’ve brought family and friends over here everytime we want KBBQ and everyone is always impressed with the amount of side dishes it comes with the Grand Papa set. For people complaining, The number of people on the menu for the sets is just an indicative number so if you think the portion is small, then just order more?"

"We walked in and the smell of bbq immediately made us hungry. They were quite slow to attend to us or say hello when we walked in but after a bit of prompting we were given a table. Having never tried korean before we went for one of the set bbq menus. The food quickly started coming out but with no explanation of what anything was but we eventually worked it out. The food was delicious and we will definitely try it again. Very reasonably priced."

"Roast duck here is good, meat is juicy and tender. Roast pork is also crispy, we have asked for pork belly with more fats, yummy! Would definitely be back for lunch! Oh yes, they provide free soup too..."

"As a massive fan of all thing BBQ and someone who's been smoking meat for a long time, I was really surprised to finally taste legitimate US style BBQ here in Australia. I stopped by with a good mate for a late lunch and ordered the combination platter with Ribs, Brisket, Sausage, and Chicken. Everything on the platter hit the mark. My mate, who also loves BBQ agreed it was extremely tastey. As an absolute stickler about smoked ribs, I was most impressed by the dry rubbed and presented ribs. The fact the the plate came with a hot and normal BBQ sauce meant you could sauce the ribs yourself and rather than the way so many restaurants present their awful basted 'fall of the bone' style cooked to death ribs. The brisket was also top notch. One thing I'm normally very biased about is sausages, I tend I ignore the US styles for our basic Aussie beef. However these smoked, almost chorizo style flavour were delicious. Lastly the chicken was also very impressive as someone who's cooked many on a smoker -great rub on it too. Coming from Sydney, I can't say I've been able to experience this level of BBQ there as yet, even at BBQ places such as Surly's, which comes across a tad try hard next to San Antone and nowhere near as tasty. Also, the margaritas are excellent. American beer, totally authentic if that's your thing -personally I'd like a few more local options as I've never really for American beer much."

"Close to upper william street and flagstaff gardens. we happened to enter into this restaurant on a close to christmas saturday when all the restaurants in the area were full or having private parties.we enjoyed a nice korean bbq prepared on the table by the waiters. the chicken and veal meat were very good, same as a staring soup with foam eggs and a spicy broth.almost all the customers were korean, so korean restaurant this seems to be popular for the korean residents in melbourne.cozy place, good service and cheap price for melbourne."

"First time trying American style Barbecued meats. I ordered 'Zee Man ' roll for take away. It is basically a sesame seed buns filled with barbecued beef brisket sliced thins to be sandwiched between the buns with fried onions and smokey sauce. Tasted nice as it was smoky, tangy and roasty at the same time. The meat was also tender enough. Chips were on point, crispy and well seasoned."

"Somethings just never change. <br/ <br/ You'd go to a place like this for purely for the food. It's like the place hasn't changed in the past 20 years. Basic white interior, direct and blunt service, hot tea in a stained tea cup. Great place to reminisce to be honest. Now I wouldn't say this is the best Chinese restaurant, but it's definitely not the worst. It's the sort of flavours that you'd expect when you go to Hong Kong and hit up some small take away shop, except a little bit more salty and a lot more pricey. <br/ <br/ For four people, we ordered 4 dishes and 3 bowls of rice. This turned out to be more than enough and we even had enough for some take away. On average, it was about $20pp, which I believe is pretty average for a dinner like this."
