"I was with my wife and a friend and we loved this place. We have been there on a late night and we enjoyed the food and the ambiance. It's a small restaurant with a great atmosphere, inviting, clean and tidy. They have a projector and an old movie was running there, a good option to kill time till your good comes. We tried Hainanese chicken rice, Satey chicken rice and Rice curry chicken Kapitan. We liked all the 3 dishes. Chicken Kapitan is a must try. Reasonable price and portion. Price rage: ~30$ for 2 people.Prompt and quick servicing, attentive staff. Overall it was a nice experience and would definitely recommend. Will go there again for Laksa. Overall rating: 4.5/5"

"The best Laksa I had in Melbourne. I avoid Laksa because I hate being disappointed. This is the real deal and my partner agrees. Try the seafood combination Laksa. Fast turnaround and they now accept cards (only used as cash). Do not expect great decoration, but look forward to authentic curry soup. It's worth for seekers."

"I get this on Uber eats. All the times I've ordered it's been closer to $100 than to $50 for 3 dishes. So...quite pricy but very very delicious. Super quick delivery as well (under 20 minutes)"

"I came in earlier today with some friends of mine and it was practically empty which is fine that wasn’t an issue. The waiter gave us a table and menus and walked off, we then had to work hard to get a waiter’s attention even though nobody else was there. While we were eating the waiter sat at a table with their headphone and was signing and talking loudly, it was then even harder to get there attention when my friend didn’t get their drink. The food was great but the service was terrible and extremely unprofessional."

"This is not the place to take your favourite person for a romantic meal, but if you want a wide choice of great food, cooked and served by possibly the friendliest people in the country, then look no further. Whether you purchase take away or eat in, the quality remains excellent, good size servings at very reasonable cost. The daily lunch specials for a mere $5 are tremendous value. Their English is not the best, but the big friendly smiles will more than compensate. I would rate the food here as possible the best of its type in the inner north"

"Really nice place for lunch or dinner. We ordered Hainese chicken and Har mee (prawn noodles). We came just before 12pm which was great because this place can get pretty busy during lunch time. The food was pretty good and the service was fantastic, really nice people. The menu has quite a lot of things on it but the two things we tried were worth it."
