"Until the Metro tunnel works re-open Scott Alley you may have to search for this little business, lurking as it does behind a creperie, but the hunt is worth it. <br/ <br/ Highlight for me is the baguette in which the Bahn Mi are served. It is light, slightly sweet with a crust that magically combines almost ethereal crispness with chew. Fillings vary, but all offers good traditional flavour with freshness. "This place has very poor noodles and even worse soup. I had the noodle soup here once and it seemed to have detergent in it (the soup was soapy). Tasteless and bland don't bother."

"My score 3.25 stars. I was here a few times. as last time we had a standard bowl of char kwei teow noodles with Vegie mix, tofu, mushroom satay sauce. overall the aroma was ok, quite spicy, not too sweet bean shoots but had. a funny aroma. we also had a standard bowl spinach noodles with vegiemix, tofu, mushroom mee goreng sauce. sauce spicy, but sweet. many sauce down for me was the sweet overwhelming at the end of the bowl."

"When in Melbourne I search for good Laksa, and today I hit gold.Seems to be a second branch which opened last year.Basic style furniture, but good service and quality.Positioned in the pedestrian mall type space.My Curry Chicken Laksa was the real deal.With curried chicken rather than shredded poached chicken, half boiled egg and two types of noodle. Spices and toppings were good.Result, mild addition. I will return."

"This has been a staple among highpoint's foodcourt scene for over a decade. I wish they reverted back to their old sauces before they went fat free. I feel the food nowadays is alot dryer and not at the level of what it used to be. Laksa's remain excellent though."
