"This is a decent local fish and chips shop. <br/ <br/ The positive things are that the fish here always tastes nice and fresh. They often include a free potato cake or two. The staff are nice and pleasant. The main downside is that the batter comes out a bit soggy I don't know how they do it but it is not crispy or flaky like a good fried fish should be. As a tip: instead of batter, ask for the crumbed fish which tastes better."

"When I shop at nearby terra Madre and am wanting take away, I always come here and buy some chips. They are super crunchy without being soggy, the staff are friendly enough and although the prices are a bit more than standard I don't mind paying it as they are so delish I dig in before I actually get home! : my coeliac friend loves that there is gluten free options too."

"I have been going to Old Salt Burger for roughly 7 years now and ordering the Old Salt Burger without onion or pineapple. I have eaten a lot of burgers from a lot of different places, but this burger is objectively my favourite. It is not on any of the delivery apps, surrounded by other 'fancier ' fish and chip and burger shops and doesn 't even have it 's own website.<br/>Nevertheless, this humble fish and chip shop produces without fail, the same tried and true, deliciousness ever squeezed between 2 sesame seed buns."
