"GAMI do fried chicken with a handfull of sauces, of which the spicy and honey/soy were the favourites with my family. The Chicken is twice cooked, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and totally delicious. GAMI is popular so book ahead, and there are more than one in Melbourne - so make sure you are booking the 100 Little Lonsdale Gami. The Kim Chi pancakes are also excellent, as is the tteok boeki ( korean rice cakes lightly fried in red pepper sauce). As for value - a family of 4 ate their fill with change out of $80....."

"I have been here a few times to fix my craving for cajun food. Not many restaurants in Melbourne serving quality cajun seafood dishes. The must-try from Miss Katie's Crab Shack is seafood boil. I ordered 1 portion with add-on option like prawns and mussels and they were absolutely delicious."

"Love the boneless chicken, less mess, easier to eat and I think better value. The kids love Korean fried chicken so this is an easy option when we're in the city. The snow cheese is their favourite, we tried the lemon mayo one which was...good but most of the mayo went on the huge amount of red onion, so next time I'd ask to skip the onion! Tried my first Soju, alcoholic Korean drink, which was ok, about 14% alcohol and think a smaller bottle would have been better but it was ok."

"One of the best things in life is fried chicken. And 4 fingers does it pretty well. <br/ <br/ I have walked past this restaurant countless times but after a busy (and boring) morning of meetings, I felt that it was time to have some fried chicken to jazz things up a bit. <br/ <br/ Their easy to navigate menu was a plus and service was friendly. The seaweed fries were crispy and scored highly on the umami scale. The fried chicken was close to perfect. Crispy skin, juicy and tender meat plus stimulating sauces what a wonderful lunch!<br/ <br/ You definitely need 4 fingers when eating these morsels of crispy goodness!"

"Watching American food documentaries has left me hanging for southern style fried chicken. I’m not usually a big fried food fanatic so I hadn’t tried Belle’s and I hate myself for it. The service was great, the diner was so cute and the chicken was delicious. The sound of three wings didn’t seem like much but I insisted we order a set each first and not dive into the 16 wing bucket. (Thank the lord I said that). The three wings were a decent serving, came with a side as well. I ordered the hot wings and yam salad and bf had the medium wings with chips. As I was hissing my saliva as I ate the chicken I could hear the waiter explain to another table that the medium isn’t spicy and then there’s a huge jump to the hot. The heat was manageable but don’t order it if you can’t handle spice! The chips were amazing! Dare I say perfect? The yam salad was so refreshing and great match with the fried chicken. Will definitely be back!"
