"I initially gave it a try out of convenience, but was sold by their warm welcoming attitude and food quality. The staff smile at you and show genuine interest from the moment you walk through the door. Food may sometimes take a while to be served, as they have delivery service as well, but the wait is always worth it. My friends and I have tried most items on the menu, which is pretty standard for a Thai place, and we have nothing to complain if not wholeheartedly recommend for the quality and the price. BYO available and encouraged."

"My son had been to The Malaya before and loved it so much that he booked it for Mothers Day so my husband myself and our son went and had the set menu for lunch. The food was absolutely superb atmosphere good and the service was excellent. I can tell you we have become very fussy as we have aged. I keep telling my husband that he has become a grumpy old man. But must admit we have both become quite disillusioned with eating out. We are now retired and frequently go out to eat as a weekly outing and have become constantly disappointed with not only the food but the poor service in so many Restaurants these days. So thank you so much and really appreciated the special touch of getting a box of excellent chocolates for Mothers Day at the end of the meal. We will definitely return."

"This place is superb, there is literally nothing not to like! The food is fantastic, with a ever changing (daily I think but don't quote me) list of specials, and a varied menu full of amazing dishes and quite a few treats! I had the eggs benedict with pulled pork and the nice little addition of pomegranates which gave it a nice understated sweet kick. Great coffee too. The cafe is in a lovely little location, I went with some friends on a nice day so we sat outside (recommend!) and watched the world go by. The staff are also beyond perfect. Really attentive, smiley, great with recommendations and always happy to have a chat. We had a British guy as our waiter and he was awesome! Definitely going to make this place my new brunch spot!!"
