"Stopped for breakfast after a long walk along the majestic Barwon River. The Breakfast Tasting Plate was immaculately presented and delicious, what a great way to get both sweet and savoury delights (thyme mushroom a great discovery). We also ordered the French toast which was great. We have eaten here many times but they seem to have taken it up a notch. Well done Darriwill.... if only my latte came in a glass."

"Had the experience of meeting and being served by the rudest little upstart ever received my takeaway order with the bag sealed at the top with a receipt sticker thing but I wanted to confirmation of my family’s written order list of what I was given with this little two bitt little girl just pointing at the sticker on bag saying that is what’s in there and scoffing at me so I preceded to tell manager of my disgust with the treatment meantime this little obnoxious thing storming back in from the back as if it was going to abuse me with the manager a young guy doing his best to control the little girl whilst apologising the whole time so my review is I just won’t be back as there’s so much else on offer and if ya not happy just end it bye Armstrong creek schitz but great management skills by the young man but won’t be back 1/6/23 response to owner don’t put up a smoke screen to your staff members behaviour by using the term passive aggressive . I unashamedly verbally addressed the poor and disrespectful customer service by your staff member and you championing this person’s behaviour won’t help I’ll only empower her to treat other customers the same this reflects on you . I also made it clear I’ll never return to your business I wasn’t asking for your permission not to as I do y want to encounter that type of customer service again and definitely don’t want to have to verbally express my dissatisfaction of poor customer service again because it’ll happen again mark my words you ignorant employer and business owner. PS I don’t rely on your custom to fill my pockets neither do any of your future customers so hop off and get your takeaway shop with seating in order in other words a poor excuse for a restaurant"
