"Went here on a Saturday night for The Wake party. An event that was created due to the cancellation of yours and owls festival. I ended up changing my life that night and proposed to my future wife. The management team were extremely accommodating to particular request after a few of our friends missed out on tickets. The friends that missed out got in for free, we all skipped the line up to get in and they organised the most amazing evening that my partner and I will never forget. None of this would have been possible without the help from the bars manager Johnny Micallef. I can't rate this place enough. Do yourself a favour, next event at the UOW UniBar, get there!!"

"My cousin spoke with Johnny and he arranged for my cousin to propose to his girlfriend (now fiancé at one of the gigs Saturday night! It was absolutely amazing! Apart from the amazing acts they had there, everyone was so lovely and we had the absolute best time!! The drink lines were a bit long but considering this somewhat replaced a cancelled festival i think they did very well! 100% would go back again!"

"Returned here with friends at their request.Compared to last visit, the staff were friendly and efficient, the dumplings enjoyable (especially the cheeseburger dumplings).The table we had gave us adequate space and the only criticism was that the table didn't have to be slightly sticky."

"We have been going to this pub for years. The food is great and always fresh. Chicken schnitzel night is the most popular. $7.50 for real chicken breast schnitzel, chips and salad with sauce. The place is packed early, happy hour 4 to 6 and young, most probably Uni students and couples everywhere. Last week, they started lining up at the small kitchen at 5.30pm. The kitchen pumps out the food which is delicious and freshly cooked. Other meals, not many ordered though to the schnitzel look just as delicious. I don't know how the staff do it but they do. We had ours within 15 mins.There is loads of room inside and out and free parking.A local gem."
