"Told this place had really good fish - decided to try it. First thought - not a very good area of town, the diner didn't look too promising. Once inside - it didn't inspire me - BUT the food when it came, was great. The battered mushrooms were very good with a very light batter, next the halibut was served with hand-cut fries and once again the batter was light and the fish cooked to perfection. I wasn't fussy on the coleslaw, but that's okay I can't like everything. I would just go back for the fish. Thank you to the couple from St. Thomas that recommended this place. Would definitely go back again and will gladly spread the word to others."

"Have suffrered through two ownership changes and the last shows how downhill a place can get. The cashier seemed very confused, they got our order wrong and we ended up waiting for 45 minutes for a takeout. Haddock was overcooked, dry and the batter burnt as well as the fries. Apparently everyone involved needs either further time to get better at what they are trying to do or lessons from someone who knows the business."

"Super disappointed. Ordered fish tacos and salad. Tacos were ok. Hated the salad dressing, after one bite I gave it back cause all you can taste is garlic and no actual Caesar flavour. Server didn’t even care that I hated it. He took it back, offered no sub, not even for a charge (I would have paid) and I still ended up paying nearly $25 for bland fish tacos and a water. I hear such good things about this place, frankly my first time years ago was fantastic and I used to recommend others. Not anymore. Maybe just go for drinks and the atmosphere?"
