"We traveled from the USA to enjoy the lunch that my family has been bragging about for a year. With passports in hand, we headed to King George's for a fish lunch.With a large variety of choices, our group of 5 had a split decision on halibut, cod, and haddock. All were wonderfully prepared, with generous portions on each choice. I also had the poutine, a rare calorie indulgence. The gravy was tasty, just as I had hoped, and the cheese was great as well. The cheese was in a smaller portion than I have had in the past at other restaurants, so I would advise ordering extra cheese and pay the difference if heaps of cheese are your thing. The price for poutine was not outrageous, so extra cheese would be worth it! Our group all enjoyed their lunch, and the wonderful service made our visit one to remember."

"Here is a small restaurant on a side street that you would miss in a blink, but if you are looking for great fish'n chips, this is the place. There are no frills here, no fancy tables, no ambiance, just fish 'n chips! Haddock, halibut, plus shrimp, scallops, even pies to take home. There are also daily specials: today was liver and onions. Parking is easy because the big sheltered parking is right there and is so convenient. Well worth the visit!"

"We went to Canada day to their new location for lunch on their outdoor terrace. The food was delicious, perfectly cooked and service was great. Ordering fish chips and grilled cheese lobster sandwich on sourdough bread and we shared everything. Margarita was delicious. We'll be back!"

"That was really 4 thumbs. Escargot in the blue cheese sauce amazing how good it was. my husband ordered almost another to dessert. Steak and frit with peppercorn sauce was really good. for Dessert had her chocolate cake. I wasn't too fussy. next time will try the carrot cake or another order of escargot lol"
