"Enjoyed the Honolulu burger. My spouse had the burger week burger and said it didn 't have enough pulled pork on it. The guy on cash was very friendly as well as an older lady cleaning the tables was extra nice and very pleasant! Guy on garnish was condescending and rude. He cut his eyes at guests, cut them off and kept saying is there anything else!? . All other staff in great moods!"

"I don't eat poutine in newer style with french french fries, gravy, cheesecurds etc! then I tried donair poutine: this is an amazing taste, texture and overall experience. Imagine donair meat cut on her fresh crispy pommes, with rich sweet donair... sauce, dressed for me with chopped tomato, wobble, and if they have it: fresh petersilie! guiltfree joy!"

"Had the most incredible experience here 4 weeks ago! The food was some of the best I've ever had in Halifax! The wine was amazing, and the service was fast, attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was cozy and romantic. We had the House Cured Charcterie to start, I have the Duck Margret as my main, and my partner had the Beef Striploin as her main. For desert we finished off with the Terrine. It was all outstanding, one of the best meals top to bottom I have ever had. Cannot recommend Stories more!"

"I was so terribly disappointed with the two (2) egg option that I couldn't in good faith recommend this place especially since it's a few block's from a Tim Horton's. The presentation was poor, the eggs overcooked, and the potatoes dry and tasteless. I was...shocked to see the meager slices of fruit on the plate as they were extremely unappetizing specifically the pineapple had gone brown and the orange beyond recognition. As well, I found the service marginally acceptable. The coffee is not included and at over $3.00 it's pricey even for a cup of Starbuck's. And with so many other options for breakfast I'd pass on this one!"
