"I ordered the tacos with roasted potatoes. The flavours were on point and enjoyed every bite. The potatoes were slightly burnt but the garlic sauce was delicious! Highly recommend."

"Although this isn't the type of place that you stumble across (it's way too special for that), my wife and I happened to find ourselves dining at the Ostrich Club last night. Without a reservation, we sat at the bar, which was absolutely fine. The food was amazing (oysters, brussel sprouts, pasta special, beef short rib and an order of bread) and the bottle of Blomidin Cremant was a perfect accompaniment. Next time, we'll try some of the amazing looking cocktails. And we will be back. Service and atmosphere were as good as the food."

"Worst service I have ever received. Our group waited an hour and 15 minutes for food to arrive. It was fairly busy, but not super busy and we saw at least two tables order after us and get their food before us. It took more than 30 minutes for one person at our table to receive his beer.I walked out before the food arrived. My husband returned my meal when it arrived. He paid by credit card for his and did not leave a tip. When he showed me the bill, I saw that they had added a 15% gratuity to the bill already. I don't know of anywhere else in Halifax that automatically adds a gratuity to the bill.I'm infuriated and will be telling everyone I know about the lousy service and questionable billing practices."

"I don’t usually post reviews but I had to for this time bc I was utterly disappointed. I went to this exact burrito jax for the second time. First time the owner prepared the order for me and he was nice and the portion sizes were great but this time I got the quesadilla with negligible amounts of meat, veggies and cheese. I understand that they’re there to make profits but I wouldn’t wanna spend $20 for literally no beans, no veggies, no cheese and no meat."
