"Not only was Irene's fish and chips the BEST fish and chips we have ever had, but one of the friendliest as well. The cute little restaurant was cozy and impeccably clean! We truly enjoyed the quality in there food!! This is a restaurant done right!!! By far better experience than the previous owners. We will always stop in when we are in town. What a great little find!!"

"We visited Marysville before the black Saturday fires and then again a short time after. So we thought we'd go back as it's nearly 10 yrs this February. The town has come along nicely, different of course but still pretty. We had dinner at the...pub. Nice meal quick service. The prices reflect on the area. Could be a little bit cheaper for what is offered."

".We were walking around the Plazl and we were all very hungry and decided to go try some Pizza. Once inside the restaurant we were seated at a table and noticed how cold the place was, my husband had to go back to the car to get us both jackets. Once we had the menu and ordered or drinks, my daughter and I decided to have the Artichoke dip to start, plus we all ordered our main meals. About 10 minutes later the waitress comes back and informs us that they have no artichoke dip. ( hum its on the menu and its only noon), we ended up ordering the buschetta and bread plate. All came in a timely manner and was very good. Once the bill came, and while my son in law was paying, we noticed that the waitress had charged us for the Artichoke dip. she then had to give us a refund which took some time. Overall the service was slow, food was good, and the restaurant was freezing. We will not be going back."

"Ordered a poutine with pull pig, pulled pig looked like cat food, tasted terrible and service was terrible. We had two separate tables and they always brought food to the wrong table, tried two extra poutins and like 4 drinks we had not ordered. Total 1/10 food and 2/10 service. I go to the ski slope every day and would rather starve, then pay to eat here."

"The buffet is very good deal. Over 30 different sushi platters plus other dishes like miso soup, fried squid, gyoza, vegetable tempura and more. Service was great. Waitress and cook were very welcoming. Well done. Will definitely be be coming back"

"Our experience was on Tuesday night , rainy Ealy evening. The staff was really friendly have a fantastic hospitality skills. The restaurant theme create a beautiful decor. If you want to go in a restaurant that make you feel a local? This is the place.Nice whisky ? sélection, Wine selection is limited but most of them come from British Columbia. "I was told "you must try their War Wonton". So I called in an order at 3pm for pickup at 530. Upon arriving the food was just about ready, a nice change from the usual. More often than not its premade and sits forever. The owner is, as some have stated a bit short, I would be hesitant to say rude, I think its possibly more a language thing. Regardless the food was good. I ordered the soup, chicken fried rice, sweet n sour chicken balls. The soup was the best I've had out here, tons of good stuff in it. The rice did not taste like a burnt pan, as so many do, and lots of big pieces of chicken in there. The chicken balls were also good, a bit more batter than I like but the sauce made up for it, excellent sauce. Overall in my opinion the best Chinese food in Cranbrook/ Kimberley area."
