"I went to their lunch buffet and it was tasty. I could have most items on the buffet except the butter chicken. I wasn't a fan of the onion bhaji, but everyone else at my table liked them. The curry was tasty, but the beef was dry and not very tender. But for the price you get lots of food and it is tasty! I would go back for lunch."

"Delicious food and great service! had a tiny glimm with our order (not her fault, only a computer problem) and they were great about the resolution, the delivery of the order fast and everything was wonderful, fresh and very tasty. will definitely be ordered again!"

"NeW Edit Reply To restaurant comment:No sorry, I was ordering way before the holidays to ,including last year once in awhile so saying it’s because the holidays is pretty much invalid,I’m just writing this review late cause I was giving u guys chances to get it right-original review comment:Unfortunately not buying from you guys again, I’m usually a very passive quiet person buut I’ve ordered a handfuls of times (there isn’t that many Jamaican places in London) I use to get Jamaican food all the time in Toronto, so I’ve been trying here since I moved, so I would order a large and more then half the time they give me a regular size meal I now feel like they are doing it on purpose because when I’ve ordered I explicitly said make sure I get a large because I’ve gotten regular by mistake often enough yet they still most times gave me regular . I usually have to contact skip or Uber to get my money back , and I know what the large is supposed to look like . I’m not saying you’re scamming,(since Covid some restaurants have been giving less food on takeout to save money/stock)but make sure your employees double check before letting the driver leave with it. Also what use to be boneless isn’t anymore so your given more bones then meat now what’s up with that dude? Example: The curry goat being mostly bone common u kno I’m bein straight with u curry goat is usually my favourite Jamaican dish yet yours has no meat Ya-kno, I kno there’s suppose to be bone but there’s also supposed to be meat lol , the food is suppose to be hardy not just full of bones. Maybe look at other Jamaican restaurants in Canada and see how they do their food cause I def got my moneys worth in Toronto where one of them even bbq outside , you can see and tell it’s hardy just by walking by. I think u guys need to revalue how u do certain things or your just gunna keep getting disappointed customers… It sucks when you don’t even get what you paid for multiple multiple times ,please talk to your staff.I don’t like giving bad reviews but it’s the honest truth my dudes. hope your able to fix the issues."

"Picked up vegetable fried rice and vegetable lo mien soft noodles $14. This was the second time this month that I have ordered these 2 dishes from China Gardens and both time the same results: Gross. The rice was dry and it was so overpowered with msg that I could taste it. There were no vegetables in it besides a few slivers of green onion. The lo mien noodles were very oily and lacked flavour. I could feel the oil all over my lips and they were nice and shiny. Good portion sizes, but poor flavour. I ended up throwing out the rice. This is worse than the Chinese food you get at the mall. The only people who are giving good ratings are staff, family members, or people who have only ever ate cheap, "fast food" style Chinese. I picked up my meal and the service was terrible both times. The lady at the counter (the owner) was standoffish. She would only give me 2 soy sauce packets with my meal. The first time I just dealt with it because I was caught off guard. The second time she went on about how she'll sell me additional soy sauce packets (10 for $1) !!! I pointed out that I had just been there 2 times ordering $14 each visit and it was over a short period of time and that I wasn't going to be back since she won't even give a couple extra packets of soy sauce. (Oh, and don't bother asking for plum sauce packets unless you order an eggroll.) After she realized that I wasn't going to come back and I called her out on how ridiculous she was being, she gave me 4 extra soy sauce packets and told me "you people use too much soy sauce". Thanks. I told her that her food was bland so it needed extra soy sauce. She went on and on about how the soy sauce packets cost money and people want 8 of them with their order. I took my food and soy sauce and left. Make sure you have cutlery and napkins because those aren't provided. I gave this restaurant one star because the food was prepared quickly."
