City: London, 1900 Huron Street | Chip Wagon located at the gas station, London, Ontario N5V 3P8, Canada, N5V3B4
"I tend to be what one would call fresh cut fry snob. Where ever I travel I tend to try a few chip wagons time permitting. I have a barometer scale when it comes to chip wagons. To date and by far the best chip wagon that I have had the pleasure to frequent was a place called Scottie it used to be under the blue water bridge in Sarnia but alas it has disappeared. However back to topic in mind. Home Grill is by far the closest in pleasure and sheer enjoyment to Scottie's and one I look forward to enjoying whenever the opportunity presents itself. Again I say if the chance presents itself take it before you leave our Forest City."

"Pho’ Ever Thai is located in the plaza on the North West corner of the Highbury & Huron intersection. It is a few stores down from Pet Valu, in the same local as Quê Hùòng use to be and that is where the confusion starts. There is a brand new sign above the restaurant with the name Pho’ Ever Thai. However, the sandwich board signs indicating that there is a new management, the in-restaurant and the take out menus all still have the name Quê Hùòng. I had eaten at Quê Hùòng only 2 or 3 times because I was never impressed with the food and have not been back for several years. Since the restaurant indicated it was under new management, and I am in search of a new favourite Thai / Vietnamese restaurant, I decided to give it a try.The tables take up just over half the restaurant space and the rest is blocked off the room is blocked off and not in use. There were plastic covered ‘placemat’ menus at the table. Both had little bits of foods stuck to them. This caused me to look around the restaurant more closely than I might to check out other cleanliness issues. Overall it seemed ok but the walls could use a wipe down too as I could see some food splashes on the paint. There were very few people in the restaurant on the Sunday evening when I went in. I was served by the owner so I had a chance to chat with him and received very good service. He was extremely nice with a good sense of humour. He indicated that he had opened 7 months prior and he has lived in London since he was a small child. I ordered the Pork Kabob bun on vermicelli with a spring roll. I expected a great fresh dish by the sizzling sounds coming out of the kitchen. What I received was thin and very over cooked pork that resembled nothing like the type of meat one associates with a kabob. The vermicelli was just a touch crunchy and could have done with a few more seconds soaking in water. I liked the spring roll and the pickled cabbage added a ton of flavour to the dish. The dish was ok and about average what we seem to find in London but definitely not close to the best. However, it was good enough for me to be willing to go back a second time to see if the food is better or if that was their standard."

"This was bad on so many levels.. the table they sat us at was dirty. They didn't even offer to wipe it down. Food was poor quality and little flavour, with the fruit old and tasting of refrigerator. My date had to soak up all the grease on his plate with a napkin. The bathrooms were dirty with bugs in the sink and rings in the toilet. Yuk yuk yuk. Please don't waste your time and money."
