"I had never tried Afghan kebobs before but heard about them a lot. Early this week my daughter and I were passing and she wanted kebobs. We were too far from the Persian/Iranian neighbourhood in Toronto and as she was hungry we stopped by Bamiyan. I ordered kofta kabob (with rice and salad). It comes with bread. Apparently the kofta is like the Persian "koobideh" kabab but this one had spices and herbs in it. My daughter probably expected Persian kabab (no spices and herbs) so she only ate the rice (also a bit spicy). I ate everything and enjoyed it. Pretty good. Different from the way we cook rice and kabob the Iranian way, but nice and good to try. Service was rather timely and the place is clean. You order your food, pick up and find a table to eat."

"I read review about this Greek shop, but I want to try it myself. I was trying to get take out. The light box for the menu didn't work. The staff said we could just order what we wanted. We saw gyro beef and chicken, but not sure why they were in soak in water. It wasn't the gyro I had. We ended up not ordering anything there."

"We tried pho metro for dinner. It was really good and reasonably priced. We had Pho, Vietnamese Spicy Noodle Soup, and number C11 (can't remember the name). We also had the rice paper spring rolls which were so good that we ended up ordering a second large portion. I highly recommend this place and will be back."

"I go to Panera Bread Cafe in Markham regularly. I like the environment: very clean and very polite staff. The coffee is good. I like the bagel and pastry. Lunch is on the expensive side."
