"We people) showed up at on Friday November and there were maybe people in the bar. After waiting at the bar for minutes a bartender finally came to see what we wanted. He did not look impressed that we were...speaking English amongst ourselves, even if we spoke French to him. We advised him that we were going to be a group of people and wanted to sit by the window. We told him we'd be ordering many drinks and food. The group was set to arrive for We tried to open a tab with the bartender who was very rude to us and told us that only the waitress could open a tab and he didn't care what we wanted. After waiting for minutes at the table we went back to the bar. The bartender was laughing at us for having waited so long because apparently the waitress does not start before We told him that he never told us that and ordered drinks. We once again asked him if we could leave him our credit card to avoid having to settle receipts every time given the fact there were very few people in the bar. He was extremely rude to us and said "Listen to me, you are holding up the line (there was no line) and i told you to pay now So we paid. We did not leave a very good tip because we tip on service and it must be earned. When we returned to the bar for a second drink he REFUSED to serve my boyfriend because we tipped badly and were "costing him money He said we must pay in cash. I went back to the bar and asked him what kind of nonsense this is because tipping is optional. He was once again extremely rude to my face and kept calling me "my dear I told him I was not "his dear" and then he told us to leave and not come back if we were not satisfied. Which is exactly what we did. We took our party of people to a different bar on St-Denis. Never have we ever felt so unwelcomed in bar in Montreal."

"We stopped here after a day in the Old Port. We had the Sangria white and red and both were very refreshing. We also had the nachos and they were very good. Service was okay as it was very busy the day we went so they were trying their best and our waitress had a huge group right next to us to take care of as well. We weren't in any rush and wanted to relax before heading home so we weren't worried about the service too much. It's a nice place to people watch in the summer. All in all we had a nice time and would definitely go back if we needed to relax in the Old Port."

"Dear owners, Request you to have better training for your server from Aug 2nd evening for 3 adults at left wing patio time 9.45pm server lady(name unknown, since she never bothered telling). We waited forever for drinks, food and finally bill. I did not feel like bothering to ask about fresh fries (they were cold by the time they got to table and it's not winters). Despite of above adjustment we made as a customer she stared at me paying and when I decided to skip tip she harassed me to pay tip and told it is law in Montreal. Though I paid to avoid being further harassed she spoke about us before we left to her colleagues. I would appreciate copy of law she mentioned to ensure I can be a better customer. We ordered a coke, Heineken, Coors light, fish and chips, pizza veg and chicken poutine (details for you to find right person as she grabbed the bill back from me). FYI we have visited your restaurant before and tipped happily since the service was great."
