"Friday we went to Amir, I was surprised by my visit to the restaurant. Last time we went the service was bad, the food was poor with no taste. They sold the place and the new owners are really good. They are welcoming, had over 10 kinds of salads and the portions are really big. The place looked clean and the food tasted good and it was hot!!! They did not charge me for the extra garlic sauce. Great job, hope they keep it like that. Going back for my lunch breaks for sure"

"We always take out. The food is fresh, the staff is friendly. My husband always has shish kebab -medium rare. It is always cooked to perfection., The shrimps are awesome. Very big and they don't skimp. This is a great restaurant with excellent food for a reasonable price. I highly recommend it. They have something for everyone."

"We recently ordered a take out dinner from Amir in Griffentown based on a friend's recommendation.We were really looking forward to it but when the order was delivered it was not at all what we expected. The variety of dishes per each of the three trays were all mixed together so each dish ended up being a jumbled up mess.I would never order from them again."

"Went today because Sarab was my favourite Lebanese place back when they were at Fairview but I moved away and hadn't been there since the move. Was really disappointed with the food I got today. The shish taouk was dry and had almost no garlic sauce and the potatoes were undercooked and dry. I threw it out because it was so bad. I don't think I'd go back. They must have changed owners."

"I absolutely love this location. The owner is always welcoming and has quickly learned my preferences for food and respecting my lunch breaks in and out with speed and accuracy. I love Amir’s food but their customer service is unmatched! Also tried the spicy garlic sauce: LIFE CHANGING!!!!!"

"Shawarma was dry with too much marbling (fat lines) for my liking. It has only a bit of seasoning. Rice was white and not seasoned although cooked fine. Salad was fresh but nothing special. Pickled turnip didn't have much flavour."
