"Usually very happy to come to this place, service and music always good but i had a terrible experience last night. i was standing around the bar waiting for my friends to finish paying with my mask down. the only waitress they have there came up to me without asking me to put my mask up, pulled my mask up herself dragging her dirty bar fingers along my face and touching the inside of my mask. Im not usually one to complain about covid protocol or anything but i felt very uncomfortable in this situation. i hope she doesnt expect any tips from me in the future"

"Excellent food and waiter services.However, even with the new face up the place would be very noisy for seating across or close to the kitchen counter.The Client sitting close to the kitchen really get on the nerve hearing the blenders, the kitchen stainless shattering and clinking and whirling, The place would be much quieter if the restaurant would consider erecting a transparent glass as notice acoustical partition.The price is on the high scale, but the plate is large and could feed 2 persons"

"Not much to say, THE BEST... you can't match the quality and price to any other steak house in Montreal. Staff is really friendly. Shrimps steaks oysters lobster tails wow wow wow, I'm hungry thinking about it. A must try!! You won't regret it one bit."

"First time going. Looks like a hole in the wall place but great atmosphere and food and decent prices! Extensive menu with gluten free options. Great breakfast place for our young family of 3. Will definitely come again! Was a pleasant discovery!"

"Albeit a bit pricey, the food here was very good! We had the veal, Tuna, and Salmon entres, and enjoyed them. The atmosphere was excellent, and service was very good. Staff was very knowledgeable and was able to make suggestions."

"I went to Comme chez soi restaurant for lunch on June 7th 2017 with my husband (who is born and raised in Belgium) and my little girl. I can honestly say that this is the WORST restaurant we have ever been to EVER! First we...ordered some beer, I had the cherry flavoured beer which was expired (extremely sour with things floating on the bottom). When we went to tell the owner (who also happened to be the chef), she insisted we were wrong by saying it 's just how the beer is normally. My husband who knows beer told her it was not right but still she insisted that nothing was wrong with it. Later we received bread which were heated in the microwave, soup that was stale and cold. Not to mention a weird after-taste of the soup, as if it 's been sitting in the fridge for days. Finally to our main meal. My husband ordered steak and fries and I took mussels and fries. When I got my meal, the mussels were dry and tasteless. My husband steak looked over cooked and to make it worst, he found TWO blonde/white hairS wrapped around his fries. When we went to speak to the manager/owner/chef, she felt so insulted when we were the one apologizing for complaining about the food. As soon as we told her the problem, all she said was 'okay then ' and took the food away. She didn 't say sorry nor felt a bad for what we found or for the bad experience we had in her restaurant, she didn 't apologized for it once. We felt so disgusted! I HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU DONT GO HERE! we don 't want to encourage a business with an attitude of an owner who doesn 't care about her business nor for the service she gives. WORST RESTAURANT IVE EVER BEEN TO EVER!!! It is a disgrace to all Belgians! And to name the Comme chez soi is an insult to everyone who cooks real and good food at home."
