"Incredible dinner. Hats off to Peter for looking after us. We sat at the bar corner, which made it feel like we had a corner all to ourselves. I didn?t make the booking (thanks better half! but I?m told it?s hard to get into, so if you love French food it?s worth the effort. The Zucchini flowers and Shrimp on Toast were home runs. The Duck main and the Natural Wine (ie no hangover! are honourable mentions too. Look forward to coming back again soon."

"Best item 3 colours rice. Meats were juicy and tender. Good potions. If only the decor was better, this place would be great. Will come back to try other dishes."

"So I was super excited to see the signs going up for this place because despite the fact it's the AYCE Japanese food mecca, there is not a single seafood only restaurant nearby. Not only are they open, but they're giving out free samples out front - alas, no seafood, but broccoli and I think some sliced sausages. It's 20% off until Sunday, so extra bonus! The decor is good, comfortable without feeling too cheap-y, lights are neat, benches nice. My only complaint is that the chairs are super uncomfortable - hard (need cushions) and a bit low, so a cushion would help raise the guest (and I'm pretty tall, so it'd likely be a bigger problem for someone shorter than me). Otherwise, one extra sign for the bathroom (you go through the door next to the sink, then through another door, across an interesting hallway, and then through another door (don't let your kids go to the washroom alone - unless you want to send out a search party). But it's worth it when you open the door and see the cool entrances for both the men's and women's washrooms as well as the super cool, lit up shell fish under glass (laid into the floor). Also the door to each bathroom is like a captain's steering wheel on a boat (you know what I mean)! The sink is a cool copper sink sitting on a wooden barrel. Very fun washroom!Anyway, back to the food. You are given plastic bibs and gloves and the food arrives steamed (with whichever seasonings you'd ordered on it) in a clear plastic bag. Think "Shellfish Viking"! We ordered the Combo which comes with half a pound of shrimp, half a pound of mussels and half a pound of clams. We also ordered the seafood rice, and fries. My favourite flavouring is the Kraken Sauce (which is their signature sauce). I don't like the lemon garlic as I feel I can taste citric acid, but my friend liked it just fine. The mixed seafood rice was okay, but super bland. Our (very helpful and bubbly) server had mentioned that putting the extra sauce from the bag onto it would help. It did, but I'd like to get it with some spices/less bland next time for sure. The fries (and I'm not a big french fry person) were really really good (I know). Didn't have enough room for more, but will definitely be back (probably tomorrow). It's fun to order using the Ipad, so it's easy to see what you're ordering and the total price beforehand, which is a bonus.Everyone who works here is friendly, helpful and efficient. I can happily feed my shellfish habit here and expect to do so a lot in the future!"

"Absolutely the best wings in town. I live in Parkdale and it was well worth the one hour round trip bike ride, through the rain at that, just to get them hot and fresh. Staff are amazing. I ordered 8lbs of wings, and several other items. I gave advance notice of my travel distance, and they ensured my food was just being finished and packed up when I arrived for my 2PM pick up. I cannot wait until I can dine out here with my friends again."

"I got the Cardi 1/2 and asked for Falafels as an add-in, and I can comfortably say that this was one of the best salads I ever had! The portions are generous, friendly staff and sanitary environment. For dessert I got the brownie and couldn't be happier. I recommend to all, thank you for the amazing service :"

"Duff's Wings is by far the best wing place in Toronto. Located in Leaside, Duff's is both a local place for people living in the area, and a must come for families all over. Duff's has as many flavour's of sauces for chicken wings. Blue Cheese, Dill or Ranch, Death Sauce, and Armageddon Sauce are only a handful of sauces wings can be dipped with. The service at Duff's is great for the small space the restaurant occupies. Personally, Duff's is better eaten if taken out or ordered in advanced because there are long waits in the restaurant. I have never eaten inside the restaurant but have seen what it looks like and just like any wing place, there are TV's so you can watch your favourite sports teams in actions. Want the best wing place in the city along with the spicy and tasteful sauces they come with? Duff's will answer your question."

"My husband and I were visiting in the area and decided to eat at House of Chan. We were quickly seated to our table and shortly after the waiter came over to ask if we would like a drink. The wine menu was incomplete, only listing a few wines like Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Merlot etc. but not saying where they were from or a description. The Chardonnay that we selected was 11.00 for a 5 oz. glass and it was really harsh. No doubt a very inexpensive bottle if purchased at the LCBO. We ordered 1 order of Beef with vegetables but it was mainly full of red peppers and celery. We had a hard time finding any beef it it. We also ordered the lemon chicken which tasted dried out and was a very small portion. The waiter said that we had ordered enough food for two but it really was not enough. The food just didn't taste fresh at all. We left with a 71.07 bill before tip and we both felt hungry afterwards. So many better restaurants in the area to choose from so I would not recommend this place."
