"Never Again--doubles is thick and floury and the channa has lots of curry. Chicken is oily. Roti is thick and you can tell the flour was in the fridge. Food has no flavour or seasoning. I dont usually leave bad reviews but if you are Trinidadian--this is not the place to buy a roti--you will be horribly disappointed."

"I will NEVER return. I ordered $100.00 worth of food that I picked up . I was told cash only and the lady on the phone said just bring $100.00 . Its a few dollars over but a hundred will do. I went to the bank and found out that they wanted the additional $5.00 I had to find the change in my car and my wifes wallet. I should have had them just keep the doubles because I got violently sick after eating the doubles. I through out the rest of the food. WHAT A MISTAKE. I will call the owner today."

"My friend and I share the mixed plant rots and the aubergins and potato rot and they were so delicious! the reds are also so fresh and taste. the portions are very large, I would say they could get 1.5 to 2 meal times from a single roti. very authentic Indian aroma with a Carribean style redi, and it didn't feel fat at all. they can choose their spice option, but the middle seasoned are still spicy, so they know their limits. will surely go back!"

"If i could give this place more than 5 stars i would! My only regret is not buying more!!!! These doubles were the best i have ever had, sweet and savory all in one. The employee at the founter was incredibly helpful. I actually tried going back the next day but they were closed for the day. We tried even the following day, but they were still closed! I tried heading downtown to another place but their doubles were so spicy that I could not even eat it. I was so sad lol. The next time i return to Toronto i will be sure to buy enough to take back to NY!!!! Amazing doubles!!!"

"Walking in I immediately felt a real throwback mom and pop vibe and automatically knew I was in the right place.. I struck up a conversation with the owner and he enthusiastically took my order and personally made my sandwiches...I ordered two specials and a turkey and roast beef with provolone.. After much searching and a few heartbreaks Im glad to say my prayers have finally been answered! This is my new go to spot in Toronto when I'm craving an authentic homemade deli sandwich. Not only are the portions huge but the ingredients were all high quality. The owner was passionate and you can tell he puts his heart and soul into every order.. He's very proud and I don't blame him.. These guys are the real deal. I can't wait to go back you made my day.. I live in Scarborough which is about a half an hour drive and I'm telling you right now it was worth coming uptown . ??? You've definitely made a new friend.?"
