"This is a sort of izakaya place, there are several Guu restaurants around Vancouver and apparently they are all different. We had karaage (fried chicken, it was a little greasy), croquettes (tasty and creamy), takoyaki (octupus balls), pork cheek, sashimi salad (nice). Reasonable prices and good location in Gas Town."

"Love this little place. I take all my friends here. Salmon pizza and baked brie are the bomb! Brunch is also good! Great for when you want a dinner out in Vancouver and can actually park within eye sight of the restaurant and not have to deal with the chaos of downtown."

"We rented the restaurant for a wedding on July 22 with 55 guests. The patio was a beautiful place for the ceremony. The appies served by staff while the pics were being taken afterwards were tasty. Dinner was lovely (they offered 3 options that guests chose beforehand so the kitchen could keep up). Transitioning to a dance floor around 9pm was smooth, as was the set-up of the dessert table and flatbread bar later in the evening. Super spot. Great staff. Wonderful wedding."

"This is a very quaint restaurant. Run by a family they are quick to fill your orders. Food is pretty much what you would expect in this kind of a place; prices are good. It is reliable and consistant. Few tables so it can be pretty crowded at times."
