"Walking, skiing, biking, trottinette riding, model glider flying, bird watchng. A hotel and restaurant at above feet on a pass between the northern and southern Swiss Alpes you cant get more Swiss than this. The talented Spori family have set up a mecca...for mountain lovers the whole year round. Efficiently run with a great restaurant and a good value half board. We go back there again and again, summer and winter."

"In the middle of nowhere is this amazing restaurant. It is run by a family serving excellent gourmet stuff. We had booked a table for 2. The chef himself came out to explain the set menu for the day. Such a personal touch. What also made it more personal and thoughtful was the fact that he made an effort to explain to us the menu in English (it seemed we were the only non German speaking customers). Environment was very cosy chalet style!!!! We picked a very nice bottle of wine and enjoyed the journey... Food was amazingly prepared, cooked and presented. Money well spent!!!!! The waitress who took care of us was very accommodating and super friendly. I highly (highly) recommend this restaurant. Is not cheap but is worth it (you get what you pay for)."

"Le restaurant de l'hôtel Bristol accueille surtout les hôtes en demi-pension. Le menu est bon, avec 5 plats, dont une soupe, dont on se passerait bien. Visiblement, le chef sait son métier et les plats sont goûteux, les assiettes bien présentées. On en a pour son argent, à 38 euros par personne le menu"

"This restaurant was a bit out of the town but well worth the trip. The chef came out and discussed the menu, so it was really special. We had about 5 courses and the presentation was beautiful. A bit on the expensive side."

"Sehr schönes und gepflegtes Hotel,in den 4Tagen aufenthalt gab es jeden Abend ein reichhaltiges 7 gang Menü vom Buffet Allesfrisch zubereitet und sehr gut gekocht ein grosses Kompliment an die Küche,auch die Bedienung wae sehr freundlich und aufmerksam,auch das Frühstück sehr reichlich mit grosser Auswahl, was miich gestötz hat, das Essgeschirr wurde zwischen de Gängen nicht abgeräumt, und noch etwas was mich nicht unbedingt gestört hat aber andere Gäste sehen das sicher nicht gern wenn dem Chef sein kleiner Hund auf der Thecke herumspringt ich bin auch Tierfreund, aber das geht und gehört sich nicht !"

"After a drive on a small lane, I arrived between lunch and dinner. In order to shelter from the thunderstorm, I dropped in.Beautiful vernacular architecture, sunburnt wooden facade, a nice ambience.The host was hospitable and talkative, interested in the coming and going of his guests.The price level is moderate, I believe.I only had coffee and instantly left after the thunderstorm."

"Good, solid food with friendly service. however, as everywhere in switzerland: 'normal' and 'solid' is not much less expensive than 'excellent' - therefore we preferred alfredo and the taverne."
