"This restaurant serves great food, it is clearly beyond the level of a village auberge . Visibly a lot of thought goes into planning the menu, although there are some little details that do not work at least to my taste. For example, the carrot ice cream in a savory dish is way too sweet which does not work well with the rest of the dish, or the frozen celery in another dish kind of numbs the flavor of the other components of the dish. Flavours are nice in general, portions could be larger though. The desserts are not very interesting (there is basically no choice as part of the set menu), and, again, way too much sugar is used. Coming up with some sugarless, refreshing, fruit based dessert would definitely be welcome. So the food is good. Service is not good. Each time we have been there so far, the service was super slow. Once it took an entire hour from arrival to receive the appetizer. Last time the 4 course menu took 2 hours and a half, with lots of waiting in between dishes, although there were only 3 other tables at the time. Service certainly needs to be improved as it really makes a negative impact in the whole experience."

"When we approached the restaurant, we could see that it was a rather contemporary lack of real character. a bit like a modern day bistro. the genfer see was a bonus, but not for eating or service. we had both Minced...Veal zurich style, which we often had in the past. Unfortunately, the meat was very fat and the sauce was missing from the cream we had experienced before. very disappointing. even if you consider that it was only 11 people in restaurant service was too slow. different from going back but could try again in the summer as the outdoor terrace looked inviting:"

"A cute ice-cream gelato location located near the coast of nyon. They have a wide variety of flavour options that comes in either cups of cones. I opted for a cup and chose cinnamon flavoured and it was incredibly fresh and creamy yet majestically tasteful. The price is reasonable. It was €4 for a small cup and then how ever many scoops of ice-cream you want that is additional € on top. I would recommend that one scoop is enough."

"Celigny is a commune that is totally surrounded by the Canton of Vaud. It's claim to fame is that the actor Richard Burton and author Alistair MacLean are buried in the very old part of its cemetery. The restaurant, itself, is a little gem that...has a tiny bistrot side and a small restaurant. The restaurant is warmly decorated in a lively colours. This is a countryside restaurant with attractive Tableware. Food was delicious. We had the Steak Tartare and a special of the day Brochet fish served in a cheesy and lemony sauce. Very inventive. This came with pommes allumettes and a salad en entrée. Very tasty food. For desert we had tiramisu with a twist no coffee but maple syrup lovely flavours. Good value for money. This restaurant is well worth a visit. Reservations are advised, especially on weekends."
