"I ordered the fifty day dry aged Porterhouse medium rare, it should have been a buttery smooth treat. What came out was over cooked, tough, untrimmed and fatty, and oily. The oil didn't taste like butter, or seasoned in any way. Stunningly expensive for what...you get. For a starter I ordered the empanadas, which are simple inexpensive food, like the Cornish patsy. For fifteen Francs I received just two, each the size of my thumb. See photos"

"The Panama Bar opens at 9 am along with the Oberer Letten schwimmbad. There is no entry fee for access to both the schwimmbad and bar. The two level structure offers a sunny spot on the Limmat to relax and chill above the morning sun bathers and earlier risers going for their daily morning swimming rituals. The Panama Bar-Grill offers snacks, sweets, hot/cold beverages, salads, tapas and fish and meat cooked from the grill. I had a hot tea (4CHF) and enjoyed some reading and the view above the Limmat. They offer restrooms, showers and small lockers as part of the bar and schwimmbad. A few guests arrived during my visit to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere and have good conversation."

"Wir waren mit Freunden am Wochenende zu Gast im Elvis Zürich. Wir haben angefangen mit einem Hirtensalat was uns wegen der Sauce fast umgehauen hat. Der Raki was uns durch den abend begleitet hatte war auch bei den verschiedenen Mezze Teller nicht wegzudenken :) Der Highlight des Abends war natürlich der Elvis Mix Teller wo ich ein Speziellen dank an den Grillmeister ausrichten will. Das Servicepersonal war sehr zuvorkommend und Freundlich. Ich denke dieses kleine aber feine Restaurant ist ein Insider in Zürich City"

"Ambience:Very disappointing evening. We went on a Saturday night, having booked in advance. We needn't have bothered as there was hardly anyone there, with only about 3 tables sat.The atmosphere was quiet.Service:Despite the near emptiness, the service was extremely slow, taking well over 2 hours for us to be served a starter and a main and some sides, and even then one of the side dishes was forgotten (though apparently it was suddenly remembered again when the bill came.) The waiter was also rather unusual, to the point of being rude, and made the experience somewhat uncomfortable. Despite there being only 3 tables sat, we only saw him at our table every 20-30 minutes to serve us.The red wine arrived warm, and needed to be put in an ice bucket.Food:Expensive and disappointing. The starter (a platter to be shared between 2 persons) was actually quite tasty, however a very hot pepper was thrown in there with no indication of just how hot it was. That was an unpleasant surprise...The rib-eye steak was fine, but fairly average for the 62fr price. It was at least cooked as I ordered. The side dish of sweet-potato puree was far too creamy and rich, to the point of being sickly."
