"We tried it as a friend told us. They have great selection of corran food. We select just by reading ingredients. They assist in the way of eating it as it was not clear for us. Food was good but price exaggerated for what we got. We paid 80 CHF each, for ethnic food with not great quantity of meat . To much for my linking considering the place is not very fancy."

"Easily one of the best restaurants in Zurich (my top for sure The food is fantastic! Mr. Shu himself came to speak with us and explained the concept of the restaurant and the idea behind some of the items on the menu which was awesome. Everything on the menu incredible, the staff were great to speak to and the overall atmosphere so warm and inviting. Overall, this was a fantastic eating experience."

"Going to Ikoo is a special treat for someone who loves Japanese food but lives on a student budget. While the appetizers, side dishes and drinks are more on the expensive side, the main courses are relatively cheap. the portions are generous and filling. there is quite a variety on offer considering the small size of the restaurant.As someone who is continuously disappointed at the meagre vegetarian selections in Japanese restaurants in Zurich, i really appreciate the options available at Ikoo. while the meals are no match for the stuff you get in Japan, at least the vegetarian dishes really make it up for me. i'm particularly infatuated by the vegetarian tan-tan mien, something that is rarely an option in Japan itself.The downside is of course the small size of the restaurant. I do not recommend spontaneous visits during lunch or evening hours without prior reservation. The service is quite informal and thus homely, the staff friendly."

"On New Year's Eve we had great time in this restaurant. Weather was really cold on December 31 and waiting for the fireworks was a tough task on the streets of Zurich. Got to this place by chance and got lucky - excellent choice of hot sake, tea and very good sushi and soups. Cozy and relaxing place I must say."

"The personal was incredible and attentive. I'm sorry not to talk to fabia. it was amazing that he observed the work and carried out the dishes. next time I will definitely ask a photo (if he did not in the middle of the prep! . the rest of the staff was equally amazing. the front of the house was so helpful and warm. the back of the house was like an orchestra that everyone works so well together. I would love if they could make a kitchen table what I think is almost what I had since I spent the most meal in the round watching the kitchen. I really loved it and can't wait to return!"
