"The meat of Bärengasse is undoubtedly goodIs it exceptionally good ? Is it extraordinarily well cooked ?Is there any originality in the overall cuisine ?Is there anything awesome (sauces, fries, service...) ?No, no, no, no.Nothing you could do by yourself, buying a good meat and cooking it on your grill at home.But the prices are for sure extremely high. Add to that a highly crowded place which does not facilitate discussions...all in all, a place in which you do not feel that you really ger quality for money spent. Much better alternatives (e.g. August) exist in Zürich."

"I was in this restaurant several times and I'm going back with joy! every meal I had so far was delicious (tartartar, leberli, reiskasimir etc). all waiters and waiters are friendly and attentive. one of my favourites is the...Fondue chinoice à dicretion! I keep it every year for bigger groups and we all leave this restaurant so happy for several reasons! first they always try to make the reservation in the wine cellar. fantastic atmosphere! especially during the Christmas season with the decoration. or even better, at halloween when the owner tastes it with incredibly good carved cuts. a must see! in addition, they get various types of meat for this meal: calf meat, poulet and the unbeatable bark fillt. the bark is cut into dices (not these stupit slices that they get everywhere). these dices are a must for bark lovers. even if they forget the bark a past in the pot and they notice that it is too well made, they will be surprised how tender this bark is still. also they get these delicious sauces and pommes allumette (i love these pommes) and rice. Finally, the best thing is: this restaurant does not want to leave this place hungry! If something does not work as desired, they simply inform the team and make everything possible to leave this place happy! I can tell them I was there a dozen times and I was never disappointed. the restaurant is not seduced in the city center of zürich, but it is worth it."

"It's not our 1st experience at Belvoir. The environment and the service are highly attractive and we visit the place despite past snags. Although the 1 st floor was busy with a big reception, on the ground floor there were enough staff left to take comfortably care of the customers. We both had the tomahawk pork cutlet. It was juicy and well-done. This part tends to dry out quickly but it was well-treated. Service was very personal. We missed the traditional sweets cart, obviously a Corona victim."
