"I have been living for 3 years in Zurich and this place was one of my favorites to come with my boyfriend. But for the past few months the service, especially at the front desk became really bad. Just rude hosts. And not willing to listen or help you. It’s sad because the pizza is amazing and some service stuff truly puts their soul into it. I hope they change the attitude of some of the service people. Sad to see a business being getting affected by rude employees."

"Wir waren letztens im Restaurant Turbinenhaus, welches sehr gutes und authentisches italienisches (sizilianisches) Essen zubereitet. Alle (sehr grosszügige) Gänge waren in sich sehr stimmig und schmeckten sehr gut, der Branzino ist einer der besten welchen wir in Zürich bis jetzt hatten. Bis zum nächsten mal."

"We didn’t have reservations because I was stuck in traffic and wasn’t sure when I’d get there. Plus it was a Wednesday evening, so we thought it couldn’t be too crowded. We were wrong! When we arrived, there was one small table in a corner that my friend and I barely fit into. Our charming waitress, Sophia, said a larger table was about to become available and we could move as soon as it was cleared. Well we took it upon ourselves to move our settings over when it was empty and we were much happier. We really appreciated her consideration, especially on a busy night. My dinner companion had been raving about a glorious fondue she’d had a few years ago but couldn’t remember the name of the place turns out, this was it! The menu is pretty limited fondue, raclette and a few other things. (We were there for the fondue so I’m not too sure what else was offered. And it was outstanding. Rich, bubbly, full flavored amazing. We’d had fondue at another place nearby the day before and it was oddly a little bland. Nor was it bubbling hot like Raclette Stube. We started with salads. I don’t know what they put in their dressing (we asked Sophia but she swore it was a family secret but it’s really good. Then straight to the fondue, served with bread and little boiled potatoes. I actually preferred the potatoes somehow they seemed less starchy than another piece of bread. Sophia recommended a great local white wine as “the perfect wine for fondue” and she was right. All in all, it was a great experience for our last night in Zurich. And now that we know the name, we’ll definitely be back when we are in Zurich. Highly recommend! (And Sophia was great!"
